📑25/11/2024 The day began with my morning duty from 8:45 to 9:20 AM, ensuring discipline and a smooth start for the students. During the 5th hour, I handled a substitution in 9A, teaching the effects of temperature and surface area on the rate of reactions, using real-life examples to engage the class. Later, in 9D, I conducted interactive games, creating a lively atmosphere that encouraged teamwork and communication. It was a fulfilling day, balancing academic teaching and extracurricular engagement. 📑26/11/2024 During the 3rd-hour substitution in class 9A, I taught the effect of catalysts on the rate of reaction, explaining how they lower activation energy to speed up reactions without being consumed, using examples like hydrogen peroxide decomposition. At noon, I performed my duty from 12:30 to 1:00 pm, ensuring student discipline and safety during the break. In class 8A, I conducted a session on ray diagrams for concave mirrors, explaining the rules and demonstrating how im...

📑19/11/24 During the 2nd hour, I had a substitution in 9A where I taught the concept of combination reactions, ensuring students understood the basics through simple examples. During the noon duty from 12:30 to 1:00 PM, I monitored the students and maintained discipline. In the 5th hour, I continued with 9A, teaching decomposition reactions and comparing them with combination reactions for better clarity. Finally, in the 6th hour, I taught 8C about the focus of convex mirrors, using ray diagrams to explain its properties and applications effectively. 📑20/11/24 Reached the school by 8:45 and observed a peer teaching session during the second hour. In the 4th and 5th hours, I had a substitution in 8C, where I taught the topic of images formed by a concave mirror, explaining the concepts using ray diagrams. During the 6th hour, I handled a substitution in 9A and taught decomposition reactions, helping students understand the process with relevant examples. 📑21/11/24 During my mor...

📑13/11/2024 On the first day of the second phase of my teaching internship at St. John's HSS Nalanchira, I entered a new environment with a group of 16 fellow student teachers. I was assigned noon duty from 12:30 to 1:00 pm, where I helped oversee student activities during lunch. I also had a substitution class with 9 A, where I introduced the chapter on "Chemical Kinetics." The class was a bit distracted, but I took charge and kept the session productive, working to hold their attention. Despite the initial challenges, I felt accomplished in managing the class and creating a positive learning environment. 📑14/11/2024 On the second day of my teaching practice at St. John's HSS Nalanchira, I had a well-rounded experience that provided opportunities to both observe and teach.  During the second period, I observed the Dean's class in 9 B.  Later, I was assigned a substitution in 8 C, where I taught the topic of Reflection of Light in Spherical Mirrors. I focused on...
