 📑19/08/2024 I was assigned kitchen duty and received substitutions in classes 9 A1 and 8 B. I covered the topic of 'Compounds' using ICT tools and taught 'Acceleration' by solving various problems."

  📑16- 08-2024 We arrived at school by 8:45 a.m. and were tasked with notifying all 9th-grade classes about the Independence Day quiz program organized by our college. Shiji and I completed this duty by 10:15 a.m. Later, at 11:15 a.m., I took a substitution class in A1 and taught the topic of "velocity." During the fifth hour, we conducted the quiz in the mini auditorium at 1.15 pm..... Vaishnavi from 8 th standard got the first prize..... Badhusha and parvathy got the second and third prize respectively.... 

 📑15-08-2024 Independence Day is a celebration of freedom and unity, honoring the sacrifices and struggles of those who fought for our nation’s liberty. It’s a day to reflect on our history, embrace our diverse culture, and look forward to a brighter future. As we celebrate, let’s remember the responsibilities that come with our freedom and strive to uphold the values of justice, equality, and peace.... 

 It was my first class with 9 A1, and I felt a bit stressed because I needed to cover a lot of material for the Onam examination. Contrary to my expectations, the students were very cooperative and enthusiastic. They were interactive and responsive. Since tomorrow is Independence Day, there were parade practices, with NCC and NSS students leading the parade... 

The day was quite disappointing. Due to  timetable change, I have to switch my classes from 9B1 to 9A1 and from 8F to 8B. This means starting the lesson all over again in 9A1, which I had already completed in 9B1. In 8B, there was no PowerPoint available, so I couldn't use ICT for the class, making it a real challenge. Despite this, I did my best to teach effectively and covered the topic "Symbols of Elements" once more. In the afternoon, we had some lab records to complete.  

 The sixth day was started with the morning duty. In the first hour there were coloring competition. At 1.30 , we were assigned the lab duty. We completed several records and organized them. At 2.50 pm I took chemistry class at 8 F and taught the portion "atoms and molecules". After the session, I felt satisfied as the students were highly engaged and responsive, which really brightened my day. The lab duty was also quite enjoyable.... 

  On August 9, 2024, St. Mary's Higher Secondary School in Pattom organized a multi-disciplinary exhibition and fair, showcasing the diverse talents and academic achievements of its students. The event, named "Sastra Samudra," featured various exhibitions across science, social science, languages, music, and IT, providing a comprehensive platform for students to present their skills and projects. Key Highlights: 1. Science Exhibition:Held in the Main Auditorium, this exhibit showcased innovative experiments and scientific models created by students, reflecting their deep understanding of various scientific concepts. 2. Social Science Exhibition:Also in the Main Auditorium but on the balcony, this section displayed projects that covered important social issues and historical events, offering a critical analysis of various socio-political phenomena. 3. Wings in Focus (Photo Exhibition):Located on the ground floor of the Cardinal Cleemis Block, this exhibition highlighted th

 Reached the school by 8.45 am. At 11.10 am I took class in 9 B1 in the third hour, the topic was " Uniform and non- uniform velocity.I got substitution in the fourth hour in 8 C. In the afternoon we need to arrange the auditorium for tomorrow's science exhibition. 

 📑Aug 7 Third day at St Mary's HSS, reached by 8.30 am. At 9.15 am went for substitution at 10 I. At second hour I had class on 8 F, and taught  the topic " Origin of the names of elements and symbols through ICT and activities. In the 6 th hour I got substitution in 9 K. Major challenge of the day was to maintain discipline at 9 I and 9 K 

 📑06-08-24 Second day of teaching practice. At 9.30 am I entered the class 9 B1 and started the topic velocity and speed. In the third and 6 th hour I have peer observation at 8 F and 9 J. The day was filled with diverse activities. Peer observation helped me to enhance classroom management skills and students participation techniques. 

📑05-08- 2024  On the first day of our teaching practice, we arrived at 8:45 AM and met with the headmistress. She gave us instructions and wished us well for the upcoming 40 days. The day was truly inspiring. We gathered in the school auditorium, where the leader and assistant leader assigned our duties. I was given kitchen duty in the afternoon, which was a refreshing new experience. I taught my first Chemistry class during the last hour with the 8D students. Although they were a bit restless and I felt slightly confused at first, I was able to manage the situation. It was a wonderful experience, and I’m looking forward to what the future holds.
