Dedicated to the art of teaching

On this day, I began with morning duty, ensuring that students maintained discipline and adhered to the school's rules and regulations. It was a calm and orderly start to the day.

During the third hour, I substituted in class 9A and conducted a **diagnostic test** based on the achievement test topics in **Chemical Kinetics**. The test consisted of **10 fill-in-the-blank questions** covering:

1. Types of Chemical Reactions

2. Effect of Concentration on the Rate of Reaction

3. The Haber Process

I explained the instructions clearly and gave students sufficient time to complete the test. Their responses revealed that while many understood the concepts, some struggled with specific topics, such as the effect of concentration and the catalyst used in the Haber process. This activity helped identify areas for further improvement.

The last day of my teaching practice was an emotional and unforgettable experience. In the morning, I collected my evaluation sheet from my mentor, Johnson Sir, who provided me with valuable feedback. He commended my teaching methods, classroom management, and dedication, which filled me with immense gratitude and pride. His encouraging words were a testament to the growth I had achieved during this journey.

During the sixth hour, I visited my favorite class, **8C**, to gather feedback from the students. Their innocent faces and heartfelt words touched me deeply. Many of them expressed how much they enjoyed my classes and how I had made learning interesting and fun for them. It was a bittersweet moment as I bid them goodbye, knowing I would never forget their enthusiasm and sincerity.

In the seventh hour, I spent time with **9A**, a class that was a mix of naughtiness and intelligence. I conducted a **remedial lesson**, focusing on areas where they needed extra support. Despite their mischief, they were attentive and showed genuine effort, which I appreciated. At the end of the session, I said goodbye to them, reflecting on how much I had learned from their unique energy and curiosity.

Before leaving, I expressed my gratitude to all the teachers who had supported us throughout this journey. Their guidance, encouragement, and constructive criticism were instrumental in shaping me as a teacher. As a group, we gifted the school a **mango sapling** as a token of our appreciation. During the farewell, Bijo Sir, the headmaster, shared valuable suggestions and wished us all the best for our future endeavors. His kind words resonated deeply, leaving a lasting impression.

As I walked out of the school gates, I couldn’t help but reflect on the transformation I had undergone—from a student-teacher filled with nerves and doubts to a more confident and moulded teacher. This journey was filled with challenges, learning experiences, and unforgettable moments. The ending felt heartbreaking, but it was also a significant lesson for the future, reminding me of the immense impact a teacher can have on students' lives.
